Sacred Justice

The Sacred Justice Committee at Sacred Heart Church was established in 2022 following a listening campaign and discernment process, and is open to all parish members and the wider community. The committee meets quarterly and as needed to address specific concerns. Since its inception, the group has been actively engaged in social justice initiatives, including canvassing the neighborhood, hosting a town hall meeting, and participating in community meetings throughout the Quad Cities area. Additionally, the committee was involved in advocacy efforts like the Bread for the World letter-writing campaign, reflecting its commitment to address issues of justice and equity in the local community.
