A Double Celebration on July 17th!

Sacred Heart is excited to celebrate two wonderful occasions in our parish. On July 17th, a special Mass will be celebrated as we hold a groundbreaking for our new Gathering Center. The festivities will begin with Mass at 11:00 a.m. The congregation will then move outside, and we will hold a groundbreaking ceremony. Representatives from our Building Committee, the TTT Campaign Committee, our Parish Trustees, and others will symbolically move dirt and we will bless the ground. Just as important as celebrating the groundbreaking of the new Gathering Center, we are honored to be able to observe the Commemoration of Fr. Mark DeSutter’s 40th Anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood. 

A reception to celebrate the groundbreaking and Fr. Mark’s Anniversary will be held following the groundbreaking ceremony and will last until 2:30 p.m. Parishioners will be able to offer their congratulations to Fr. Mark at the reception. Fr. Mark would ask that any gifts be directed to the TTT Campaign and towards debt reduction. He thanks all parishioners for their love and support.
