Second Hand Sale
The 2024 Second Hand Rummage Sale drop-off is happening right now! The sale begins this week. See below for the dates and times to drop off your sale items.
NEW THIS YEAR! WE ARE ACCEPTING CREDIT CARDS!
Most importantly, the Early Bird Sale begins Thursday, June 6th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. You do not want to miss this evening, since this is the best selection!
The sale continues on Friday, June 7th, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The sale concludes on Saturday, June 8th, 8:00 a.m. to noon. Be sure to come on Saturday for our $3-a-bag sale. See what gems are still available and if they fit in the bag, it is yours for $3.00. If it is larger than the bag, it is half price.
The money raised from our sale goes toward replacing the carpet in the church.
The big question continues to be about clothes. No, the sale no longer includes clothes.
Our remaining drop off dates for the sale are:
Wednesday, June 5 - 8:00 a.m. - noon
All your favorites are returning this year: Bookman’s Boutique for items that some consider to be a ‘cut above,’ the Jewelry Corner, and Martha’s Kitchen, where all your wonderful baked goods can be sold. Get those baking pans and cookie sheets out so you can drop off your goodies beginning at 10:00 a.m. on June 6th. We accept baked goods donations all three days of the sale.
The kitchen is again providing something to keep up your strength with food for sale for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
We need volunteers during the drop-off times, during the sale, and for the clean-up. Please consider helping this year, if only for a few hours. If you can help, please contact Connie at sixverybusypeople@gmail.com or (309) 799-5865.
