Feast of the Sacred Heart

The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is a Catholic feast that honors the heart of Jesus and His love for humanity. It is celebrated on the Friday after the Corpus Christi octave. This year’s feast is celebrated on Friday, June 7th. Please join us for a light breakfast of pastries and fruit after the 8:00 a.m. Mass.

The feast is a reminder of Jesus’ love, compassion and long-suffering, and that God wants to dwell within us. The heart is considered the seat of love in the human body, and therefore, it is from the heart of Jesus that this love flows.
