Msgr. Wellman To Celebrate 60 Years into the Priesthood

Mark your calendars now to join with Sacred Heart parishioners and family members as we celebrate Monsignor Wellman’s 60th Anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood on Sunday, June 2, at 11:00 a.m. Mass. A reception follows the Mass in the St. Damien Center. If you cannot attend the Mass, please feel free to join us at the reception to celebrate his 60 years of spiritual life.

Monsignor Wellman can be known as a “Gentle Giant.” He can be intimidating with his stature, but he has a heart of gold and a gentle soul, truly a spiritual person who walks the walk and talks the talk.

We were gifted to have Monsignor Wellman as our Pastor from 2001 to 2012. As we celebrate with him, we give thanks to God for Monsignor Wellman, and for his generous response that touched many lives in beautiful ways. You can always count on being remembered in his prayer intentions at Mass.

May God continue to bless you, Monsignor, for the gifts you gave us all.
