A Summer of Holy Leisure

Dear Parishioners,

We have nice events in the month of July. On the 9th we celebrated an outdoor Mass in the green space by Culemans Hall at 9:15 a.m. Immediately after Mass, we walked to the Gathering Center to bury a time capsule. In the container are artifacts from the original cornerstone of the church, items from the 100th Anniversary Celebration when we remembered the laying of the cornerstone of the church in 2019, and articles that recall the dedication of the new addition this past March. When people open this capsule many years from now, hopefully, they get a sense of the church's history. I thank everyone who had anything to do with putting this capsule together. After the capsule was buried we had coffee and donuts.

The other event happening in July is our Vacation Bible School. This takes place from July 10th thru July 14th. This is an excellent opportunity for our children to grow closer to the Lord.

P.S.  I would like to thank Cliff Zerrull and all our Garden Committee for working so hard to keep our grounds looking nice.  The severe drought caused quite a challenge, the new plantings were watered often, and they look good.
