Be sure to mark your 2023 calendar for February 21st.  MARDI GRAS IS ON THE BOOKS AGAIN!! It has been three long years since we gathered to party for Fat Tuesday. The Social Committee is making plans to be sure this is a fun evening.  (Start praying now for good weather!)

Besides a fun array of foods to fill up on, there will also be those wonderful desserts made by our parishioners to enjoy before Lent begins the next day. You can enjoy the food from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. There will be a number of children’s games, and White Elephant Bingo should be there once again. We assume Mike and Suzie will be dealing Show Down for your quarters. We will try to get more chairs around those tables so you don’t have to wait as long to sit down to play your hand!! The games end at 7:00 p.m. so there is still time to get home before school and work the next day.

The Social Committee enjoys this event, because all of you seem to enjoy it so much. We hope to see everyone there. We need help to make this event successful. Can you stop by in the afternoon and help us set up and decorate the gym and the cafeteria? Or help prepare food? Can you help out for 45 minutes or so during the event - in the kitchen or with the games? Then there is the normal clean-up at the end, so the school children can show up the next day and not know we were there.  If you can help, please contact Linda Noe at linda.noe1@us.army.mil.
