Religious Education - September 10th
There are several reasons why introduction to religion is important for children:
Religion provides children with a sense of meaning and purpose in life. It helps them understand their place in the world and gives them a set of values to guide their actions.
Religion helps children develop a sense of community and belonging. It provides them with a support system of like-minded individuals and a sense of connection to others.
Religion helps children develop moral and ethical values. The faith teaches principles such as compassion, forgiveness, and self-discipline, which helps children grow into kind, compassionate, and responsible adults.
Introducing children to religion also helps them better understand and respect the beliefs and practices of others. This fosters a sense of tolerance and understanding in an increasingly diverse world.
Finally, introducing children to religion is a way for families to connect and bond over shared beliefs and practices. It provides a sense of tradition and continuity that can be meaningful for children and adults alike.
Religious Education begins September 10th from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for preschool to eighth grade.
