Hispanic Ministry

The Hispanic ministry in our parish came into existence with the aim of embracing and serving the needs of the Hispanic community within Sacred Heart Church. It was established as a response to the growing number of Spanish-speaking parishioners and the desire to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed and supported.

One of the primary goals of the Hispanic ministry is to foster cultural understanding among parishioners. By blending our cultures and traditions, we strive to promote unity, appreciation, and respect for the diversity within our community. Through this process of merging cultures, we aim to create a space where parishioners of all backgrounds can celebrate their unique heritage while learning from and appreciating the experiences of others.

In our meetings thus far, we assessed the needs of Hispanic parishioners and are currently building our team. We now have bilingual missals thanks to the Altar and Rosary Society. We currently meet once a month so please refer to the weekly parish bulletin for dates and times. Everyone is welcome to attend. We look forward to the continued support from the parish for our growing Hispanic community needs.

A special thanks to Father Mark and Father Matthew for giving us the support to start the Hispanic Ministry at Sacred Heart.

Let's celebrate diversity, embrace our shared experiences, and build a thriving community Together!

Dios los bendiga,

Hispanic Ministry Team
