Growing Disciples

Growing Disciples is an effort led by the Diocese with an end goal of growing our churches.   We  first looked at the existing parishes, with the goal of determining how to best use both our human resources and physical resources. With that in mind, the Diocese brought together leadership from different parishes including Fr. Mark, Deacon Mike, Suzie Budde, Dane DeDecker, Marcia Templeman, and Connie Morris from our parish. This past October, we held a town hall meeting to share the current models the Diocese presented as possible changes to help manage the different vicariates. Parishioners had an opportunity to provide direct feedback to the Diocese about the models. The Diocese, after reviewing the feedback, just completed the second round of models. Bishop Tylka intends to announce the final decision at Pentecost, on May 28th. In the meantime, you can review the information by clicking here.
