Easter Sunday Of The Resurrection Of The Lord

Easter Prayer

When we are all despairing;

when the world is full of grief;

when we see no way ahead,

and hope has gone away:

Roll back the stone.

Although we fear change;

although we are not ready;

although we’d rather weep

and run away:

Roll back the stone.

Because we’re coming with the women:

because we hope where hope is vain;

because you call us from the grave

and show the way:

Roll back the stone.

Dear Parishioners,

      I hope you have a Happy Easter.  I would like to thank all the parishioners who decorated the church, made the music, and served in so many ministries during this Holy Week. Without their help we could not have a beautiful Easter celebration.

     I welcome the people who  experienced Easter Sacraments during the vigil this Saturday night.  They have many Easter stories to tell and have each committed to follow Christ for their own reasons. Their names are listed below. Congratulate them when you see them.

     As we renew our Baptismal Promises today, let us recommit to following Christ ourselves, especially by serving our Sacred Heart Community.  Jesus is the way we follow. He is the truth we proclaim. His is the life we share in and look forward to.

He is risen!

Blessings,

Fr. Mark
