Dear Parishioners,

            I am sure most of you have heard the news that Suzie Budde who has been on our office staff since the 1990’s and has been a music minister at Sacred Heart for just as long has died. She passed away at her home early Sunday morning. This was a shock for our whole parish.

            I would like to share her funeral information. Her funeral will be this Saturday November 2nd at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. There will be a wake on Friday afternoon and evening from 3:30 until 7 p.m. at the Damien Center at our church. Please pray for the repose of Suzie’s soul and for her family.

            Our parish staff are very busy trying to cover Suzie’s responsibilities. This is taking up a lot of time.

            I have decided to suspend my daily Facebook posting for the time being. I will have a post each Sunday and if there is important information I need to relay I will post it online. Hopefully, when we hire a new staff person, and they are fully acclimated I can slowly resume my daily reflections.     

            I appreciate everyone’s patience as we move through this time of transition. Thanks to all who have expressed their desire to help us.
