Those who take part in the distribution of Holy Communion truly help the whole community. Through his or her eyes, smile, and gentle serving of the Body and Blood of Christ, the minister of communion reflects the importance and reverence of the Eucharistic Liturgy. The minister can remind us that our communion with the Lord is also communion with one another.
