Thank You Capital Campaign Donors

A thank-you to all who have donated to our ongoing Today, Tomorrow, Together Capital Campaign!

Cardinal Mercier's Visit - A Message from 1919

We are just a little over a month away from our celebration on Sunday, October 20th. The committee, staff, and the Archives Ministry, in particular, have been very busy. One item we found interesting and very exciting was an article the Archives Ministry came across originally found in the Gazette Van Moline, the Flemish language newspaper of Moline.

Capital Campaign Update

Most of you likely know Don Lewis as a friendly face from Pew Pals, parish council, facilities committee, or the countless other ministries and social events that he’s helped with over the years. We sat down with Don to talk about the capital campaign, the parish’s past projects, and the future at Sacred Heart.

Capital Campaign Update

We are now deep into the public phase of our Today Tomorrow Together campaign. This is the time where we appeal to everyone in the parish to support the campaign.

Today Tomorrow Together Kickoff

On January 12th and 13th we will begin the public phase of the capital campaign that we are undertaking for Seton Catholic School, Christ the King Parish and Sacred Heart Parish. Committees and individuals from all three institutions have been working hard during the fall.

A Year of Growth

This year will be a pivotal year in our parish. We will be engaging in a capital campaign. It is a unique undertaking. We are joining with Christ the King Parish and Seton School to raise funds for building projects that will affect all three institutions. We have contracted with the Steier Group which is headquartered in Omaha Nebraska to solicit pledges for the improvements we hope to make. How the Catholics of Moline will respond to this undertaking will determine how healthy our local Catholic Community will be in the future.

Sacred Heart's Upcoming Captial Campaign

Just last week, we received work from the diocese that the capital campaign for Sacred Heart and Seton has been approved to go forward.

Capital Improvements and Growth

Dear Parishioners, During the upcoming weeks we will participate in an ambitious study to decide if we should undertake a capital campaign for the parishes of the Moline area and Seton School. We have many needs. The Sacred Heart church building needs major maintenance projects including making the church building more accessible for those who are physically challenged. We would also like to provide other amenities that would enhance our worship space.
