A Month of Milestones

Part of the appeal of Catholicism is that we have many special celebrations that mark milestones in our lives. During the month May we have First Communions and graduations here at Sacred Heart and Seton School.

Seton Walk-A-Thon: May 11, 2018

Seton families will receive their 2018 Walk-A-Thon pledge packets following the kick-off assembly on Friday, April 13. For the assembly, each Seton student will receive a free Walk-A-Thon t-shirt courtesy of our VERY generous sponsors Source One Graphics, Southeast National Bank, McLaughlin Body, ORA Orthopedics, and Gett Industries.

Capital Improvements and Growth

Dear Parishioners, During the upcoming weeks we will participate in an ambitious study to decide if we should undertake a capital campaign for the parishes of the Moline area and Seton School. We have many needs. The Sacred Heart church building needs major maintenance projects including making the church building more accessible for those who are physically challenged. We would also like to provide other amenities that would enhance our worship space.

Catholic Schools Week: Jan 28 - Feb 3

Since 1974, National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. The theme for National Catholic Schools Week 2018 (January 28 - February 3) is “Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.”

Sacred Heart First Day Fund

The First Day Fund is a program to ensure Seton School students get off to a good start in the fall. The program is supported by parishioners who fill backpacks with school supplies for students in need at Seton.

Back to School

August is always back to school month. Seton School is right here on our campus. As I look out my window the playground is empty. The quiet is in stark contrast to when school is in session. When the children are here there is a constant hubbub. If you know of school age children we would love to have them enroll at Seton grade school. We have pre-school through 8th grade.
