Back in Black

Someone once told me that all they wanted out of a financial report is to know if the parish was in the black for the year. This has been a difficult year for many charitable organizations. As I looked forward to this report in the midst of the pandemic last fall, I was worried that there would be only bad news to share for the 2020-2021 fiscal year, but a number of things have transpired that have led to some pleasant surprises.

TTT Updates - October 2021

Over the July 4th weekend, Sacred Heart Parish leadership announced the extension of the Sacred Heart Church TTT campaign into a fourth year, through 2022. Since then, each parishioner has been invited to one of a series of information meetings, providing campaign status updates, sharing of Gathering Center design options, and soliciting additional Tier III funds. The feedback from these meetings has been very favorable, with most attendees sharing excitement and planning financial support towards the TTT Campaign’s Tier III Gathering Center plans.

Parish Mission is Coming to Sacred Heart

Mark your calendars for October 17, 18, and 19, for an exciting three days at Sacred Heart Parish as Father Britto Berchmans returns for a parish mission here at Sacred Heart. We will try to make the event as safe as possible. We might all agree we need a spiritual shot in the arm after the last two years.

Mass of Remembrance 2021

There will be the ritual of naming those who have died at the 4:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday, October 30th. Invitations to a family member of the deceased will be mailed in mid-October and are to be shared with others who would wish to attend the special Mass.
