First Day Fund 2018

Our parish, along with Christ The King, and for the last few years, St. Maria Goretti, have done a fantastic job in supporting the students at Seton School.  In our early days we started with a car wash and a bake sale.  Then we went to adopting an entire backpack.  And now that we have this School Supply Drive in conjunction with two other parishes, we are able to adopt supplies needed individually.  This way more people can help out at different levels.

We have adoption sheets that range from $5 to over $20.  So you can help out at any  level you are able and desire.  And not to worry, we will let you adopt more than one sheet of supplies!

Please check the front vestibule the first two weekends of July to adopt supplies for our students.  And then you can drop them off the third and fourth weekends of July again in the front vestibule of the church.

For those of you that do not like to shop, we will have canisters at the different church doors.  You can leave a donation there, and we will shop for whatever supplies are still needed.

And this year, we are planning on getting some supplies for Religious Education classes, to help take a burden off of our Catechists.  And as a reminder, if you see any backpacks on clearance after school starts, consider picking one up.  We will store it until next year.

If you are able to help out with filling the backpacks with all the supplies on Tuesday, August 7th, please let Connie know. or (309) 799-5865.
