Catholic Schools Week: Jan 28 - Feb 3

Latest Posts

Since 1974, National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. The theme for National Catholic Schools Week 2018 (January 28 - February 3) is “Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.”

We will kick off the week with Seton students participating in parish Masses on Sunday, January 28. We’ll also have information on the schools available at the dedicated Seton & Alleman kiosk found in the vestibules of the parishes. Other
events during the week will include an Open House for families and friends to visit Seton classrooms, our middle schoolers will be visiting Alleman and we’ll celebrate an all-school Mass on Friday.

We wrap up the week with our always popular Spaghetti Dinner and Basket Raffle on Friday, February 2, from 5-8 p.m. in Culemans Hall. Please plan on attending! Through these events, we hope to focus on the value that Catholic education provides to our young people and their contributions to our Church, our communities and our nation. Catholic Schools Week also offers an ideal opportunity for interested families to visit and explore the school. The newly established Invest in Kids Act is paving the way to make Catholic education more affordable to families than ever before. If you haven’t yet considered choosing Seton or Alleman, take the time during Catholic Schools Week to make a visit and learn more. For the most up-to-date information on Catholic Schools Week activities at both Seton and Alleman please visit their websites: or
